The verdict

G2 Motorsports Park sits on the north edge of the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex in Anna, Texas, and is the project of three-time World Challenge champion Lou Gigliotti. The layout began as a Tilke design and was finished by Bob Barnard, combining a 1.9-mile west course and a 1.2-mile east course into a 3.1-mile full circuit, with a roughly 2.8-mile perimeter track alongside it. The circuit borrows ideas from famous tracks — a Nürburgring-style carousel and a Mosport-style 5a/5b sequence — and runs F1-style runoff, soft barriers and pit-lane garages. Membership is sold as a lifetime VIP founding tier with monthly dues, plus platinum and standard corporate tiers, and 28 phase-one luxury garage condominiums overlook turns two through five.

Best forNorth Dallas and McKinney-area drivers who want a long, technical circuit close to home, and collectors who want a trackside garage that comes with lifetime membership.

What works

  • One of the longest private circuits in Texas at 3.1 miles, splittable into two courses
  • Tilke-originated layout with recognisable corner ideas from the Nürburgring and Mosport
  • Lifetime VIP fee is credited back in full against a garage condo purchase
  • Open to motorcycles as well as cars, which is unusual for a private club

What to weigh up

  • Still building out — pool, kart track and parts of the clubhouse are phased
  • Only the VIP founding tier has published pricing; corporate tiers are quote-only
  • 48 ft of elevation change is modest next to hill-country and mountain circuits
  • Anna is on the far north side of the Metroplex, a long haul from Fort Worth
