MotorSport Ranch opened in 1997 and is generally credited as the first car country club in the United States. It is deliberately unglamorous: two road courses, hundreds of private garages, and a culture built around driving rather than dining. For Dallas–Fort Worth owners it offers more seat time per dollar than almost anywhere else.
